Affiliated genetics will not give any information regarding any case unless a password is used or proper identification is presented. Paternity Screen Results are given to the person who initiated the test and any persons he/she designates. Court Admissible Results are given to the person initiating the test and any persons he/she designates. In addition, any adult participant is entitled to a copy of Court Admissible Results.

Although identifying information is provided at the time of sample collection, before the samples are passed on to our laboratory staff, they are given unique numbers. Thus when the samples are in the laboratory, the scientists conducting the test have no way of knowing who is being tested. Only after testing is complete are the names of test participants reunited with the sample numbers for reporting. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to our entire staff.
