One of Affiliated Genetics' foremost concerns is privacy. We always provide considerate and confidential service to all parties involved. Due to security and privacy policies, test results cannot be reported by telephone or e-mail unless passwords have been established in advance. Samples are tested only for the specific test requested. All samples are destroyed 30 days after the results have been reported.

Although identifying information is provided at the time of sample collection, prior to the samples being passed on to our laboratory staff, they are given unique numbers. Thus when the samples are in the laboratory, the scientists conducting the test have no way of knowing who is being tested. Only after testing is complete are the names of test participants reunited with the sample numbers for reporting. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to our entire staff.
